Collegiate Catalyst works with universities and associations to promote personal responsibility and career readiness for First-Generation college students.
Our presentation style is high-energy, high-impact, and delivers high-results because our team infuses a strong element of cultural pride, discusses personal setbacks, and shares life lessons on how to overcome adversity and prepare oneself for life after college. Our programs are filled with passion because many of our audience members share our same social-economic upbringing and we are able to relate to our attendees on a more empathetic level. We deliver with an intense level of credibility on how to bridge the gap between living in poverty and achieving academic, social, and career success…resulting in a memorable and empowering experience for both the college students and the men and women who hire our services.
How is Collegiate Catalyst Unique?
We already know that your office stimulates action. However, what makes Collegiate Catalyst unique is that we offer programs for your office to continue to achieve high levels of student engagement and become a resource for the First-Time college parent.
As a company founded on the principles to empower students through social awareness, Collegiate Catalyst is built on four cornerstones:
- My Brother’s Keeper – In February 2014, the White House launched the “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative to empower men of color. Collegiate Catalyst believes strongly that education is a part of enhancing opportunities in the business and leadership arenas for men of color. Our mission is to support the initiative through stressing the need for continuity for men of color in the education system.
- 100 Days to Organizational Excellence – The success of students organizations is measured by their ability to perform at a high level. Whether the organization is focused on recruitment, member development, alumni retention, or financial sustainability, knowing how to execute on an action plan is important. This workshop focuses on providing a framework to develop a strategic plan and initiatives for fraternities and sororities to achieve excellence within 100 Days.
- When Good is Not Enough – As students prepare to transition to life after college, many are unsure of what may lie ahead. Most students struggle with the idea if they should apply to graduate school or begin their career. During this dynamic, hands-on workshop, we will help students determine how to graduate from college with options
- Masculinity Among Men of Color – Designed for college men related to gender and sexual identity. Focused on the ways in which manhood and masculinity exist within communities of color, understanding cis-gender and heterosexual male privilege
